The Chateau has a publicly maintained tarmac road leading only to it and its two neighbouring properties. The Chateau has a formal front walled former coach circular driveway now lawn with a large monkey tree in the middle in front of the Chateau. It has a handsome facade with symmetrical windows and small oval windows and 3 windows in the grainer. During WWII, the Chateau was a German hospital. Ground Floor. Most rooms have the original oak or chene floor boards. Grounds, gardens and lawns The grounds are about 8.300m2 or 2 acres, all set to lawn with tall established trees. To the front is the coach drive garden, to its left is a large lawn area suitable for a tennis court and pool, leading west to the rear orchard with apple, pear, walnut and meddle trees, leading behind the Chateau to the largest south lawn. High trees surround the lawns. To the East is the driveway leading past to the former stables and ruined boulangerie also no longer part of the Chateau property. To the south is a neighbour in a former barn of the Chateau with large lawns; to the north is a small farmhouse and farm with sheep and chickens with another large barn previously owned by the Chateau. Behind the Chateau are about 15 hectares of fields also previously owned by the Chateau. The vendor has done considerable work, is only selling for personal reasons and has sealed all of the bare stone walls in the interior, retiled the dining room and kitchen, carpeted the living room, installed the 2nd bathroom and kitchen and done most of the redecoration.
